Terms of use

1. Subject matter

Neighborhood Mainz is a free, local directory of businesses and services, as well as neighbourhood information. The operator is the OKAU UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Mainz (see Imprint).

2. No warranty

All information is provided without any guarantee as to its accuracy, completeness or timeliness. The mention of a provider does not constitute a recommendation or guarantee of their services. Contracts are concluded exclusively between users and providers; the operator is not involved in this process.

3. Verified, recommended, sponsored

‘Verified’ means that the listing has been checked by our team and cannot be purchased. ‘Recommended by neighbours’ is based on feedback from residents. ‘Sponsored’ indicates paid listings – these are clearly marked and do not affect either the ranking or the verification status.

4. Entries and suggestions

Proposed providers are vetted prior to inclusion. There is no entitlement to inclusion, listing or continued listing. By submitting your details, you confirm that they are true and accurate and do not infringe the rights of any third party.

5. Liability

Use of this information is at your own risk. Liability for any damage arising from the use or non-use of this information is excluded, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or in the event of injury to life, limb or health.

6. Amendments

We may amend these terms and conditions and the scope of the directory at any time. The version currently published shall apply.
